Statement

David Godfrey has been painting in oils since the age of eleven and a semi-professional artist for 28 years.

He trained with Trevor Goodman at Felsted School and won the Alfred Munnings Prize in 1982. He has had solo exhibitions at The Bury, Felsted and The Beecroft Gallery, Westcliff-on-Sea.

After a career dedicated to veterinary surgery he is now turning again to painting and concentrating on landscapes with expressive form and colour.
