Painting for Pleasure Health and Safety Policy
The committee, volunteers and paid workers of "Painting for Pleasure" will, as far as is reasonably practicable Promote a safe working culture,
which positively promotes and encourages safe working in all
aspects of our work. Provide and maintain a suitable
accident reporting procedure and encourage and promote the
reporting of accidents with an appropriate subsequent
investigation. Ensure the safe handling, storage
and transport of hazardous articles and substances. Ensure the establishment of safe
working practices e.g. in respect of manual handling, noise, the
use of equipment – including use of turpentine, sprays and
maintenance of first aid supplies etc. Ensure that this policy and any code of practice or guidance resulting from it is kept under regular review.
